Herbal Kulen
HERBAL KULEN GIN botanicals are grown in a vast organic forest garden at the foothills of the Kulen Mountains, in between Beng Mealea temple and the Angkorian sandstone quarries. The Forest Garden features a diverse range of medicinal plants all grown together on different layers. Hand-picked by Herbal Kulens’ rangers, the botanicals parts selected are roots, leaves, berries, peels and herbs. The collection is then distilled in Siem Reap with juniper berries (from temperate climate), base note of any Gin produced in the world. HERBAL KULEN GIN is distilled by a Cambodian woman Head distiller named Unn Sophary, she supervise the production process who consists of several infusions and five distillation steps. Amounting to a few thousand bottle per year, production in small batches allows us to closely inspect and ensure that each bottle of gin brings the spirit to maturity.
