La Plantation
La Plantation is a sustainable agricultural project established in 2013 by a French-Belgian couple, Guy and Nathalie, in Cambodia’s Kampot region.
Initially inspired by the area’s famous Kampot Pepper, they set out to create a farm dedicated to cultivating this unique spice, known for its exceptional quality.
The farm was built from the ground up, with careful attention to sustainable practices and the welfare of the local community.
Over the years, La Plantation has expanded its scope to include a range of high-quality, organic Cambodian spices, including chili, turmeric, and ginger, many of which are sourced from over 50 small local farms.
The project is deeply committed to fair trade, offering reliable employment and supporting the education of local children through the Les Écoles de La Plantation program.
